Homeless families to be moved into blocks with systemic safety issues due to coronavirus

Due to the Coronavirus emergency, Southwark Council have taken a decision to move homeless families from shared accommodation into in the Ledbury Estate tower blocks in Peckham - as reported in this article by Inside Housing. The Ledbury Estate flats began being decanted in 2017 after serious fire and structural safety issues were discovered. Read more about the Ledbury Estate here.
